This is a quick and easy way to enjoy tilapia. Goes great with some wild rice and asparagus.

Ingredients

1 c
almonds, sliced and divided
1/4 c
all purpose flour
4
(6 ounces each) tilapia filets
1/2 tsp
salt
2 Tbsp
butter, cold
2 Tbsp
olive oil

How to Make Almond Crusted Tilapia

Step-by-Step

  • 1Process ½ cup almonds in a food processor until finely chopped, and combine with ¼ cup flour in a shallow bowl.
  • 2Sprinkle fish with salt, dredge in almond mixture.
  • 3Melt butter with olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add fish and cook 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown, remove fillets to serving plate.
  • 4Add remaining ½ cup almonds to skillet and cook stirring often for 1 minute or golden brown. Remove and sprinkle almonds on fish.
