Ingredients

3 to 3 1/2 lb
cut up broiler-fryer chicken pieces
1/4 c
mayo or salad dressing (not reduced fat or fat-free)
1/4 c
zesty italian dressing
1 tsp
dried italian seasoning

How to Make Zesty Italian Chicken

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place chicken, skin sides down, in ungreased rectangular pan, 13x9x2. Salt & pepper to taste.
  • 2Mix remaining ingredients. Brush half of mayo mixture over chicken.
  • 3Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Turn chicken; brush with remaining mayo mixture. Bake uncovered about 30 minutes longer or until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
  • 4(If chicken begins to brown too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.) Discard any remaining mayo mixture.
