Ingredients

  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1-1/3 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2
    egg yolks, beaten
  • 1-1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    canola oil or more for frying
  • 3 lb
    chicken pieces.

How to Make Yummylicious fried chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. In a lg bowl, mix together 3 cups flour, garlic salt, pepper, paprika, and poultry seasoning.
  2. In another bowl, stir together 1-1/3 cups flour, salt, beaten egg yolks, pepper and water, beat until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in lg pot until oil is hot. Moisten chicken pieces, one at a time w/ water. Dip chicken into dry mix, shake off excess. Dip chicken in wet mix, then into dry mix again. Carefully place chicken pieces in oil. Fry 15-18 min. Lg pieces may take longer. Drain on paper towels.
