This is an excellent White Chicken Chili. I made this in the states for my parents and family and it was very well liked! For the cooked chicken, canned chunk chicken works great and is what the photos show. I did make this here in Thailand and used pressure cooked chicken breasts that I cubed. Thai family really enjoyed this.

Ingredients For white chicken chili 2

  • 4 can
    great northern beans, drained
  • 1 can
    condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 3 c
    cooked chicken, cubed
  • 1 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1 can
    green chilis, chopped, drained (4 oz / 113 g)
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh cilantro, minced or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano

How To Make white chicken chili 2

    To a large pot, add the beans, chicken, soup, and chilies and give the mixture a stir.

    Add the milk, cilantro, onion and garlic powders, cumin, and oregano, stir together and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover. Stir occasionally and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • White Chicken Chili 2 with a topping of optional sour cream.

    Serve and enjoy. Optionally, top with sour cream or oyster crackers.
