Ingredients
- 3 cans navy beans
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon for extra flavor/ per your taste
- 2 teaspoons salt free butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup green bell peppers
- 2 cans small cans green chilies
- 1 pound skinless boneless chicken (breast or thighs) chopped
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 bunches cilantro, fresh chopped

Step 1In a saucepan lightly cook chicken, garlic, onions, and green bell peppers

Step 2Open navy beans.

Step 3In large pot add navy beans, chicken broth, garlic chicken, onions, bell peppers, cumin, oregano, black pepper, cilantro and cans of green chili. add chicken bouillon for extra flavor.

Step 4Lower heat to medium and cook, while stiring occasionally. cook for approximately 45mins. Serve with home made corn bread.
