We do love our chicken and dumplings, but the traditional method just takes a bit too much time and energy after a long day at work. This recipe makes it a bit easier and my guys love it! This recipe is versatile as you can spice it up anyway you like and use whatever chicken pieces available!

Ingredients
- 3 - chicken breasts
- - gsp (garlic, salt, and pepper)
- 1 cup peas, frozen
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2/3 can milk
- 2/3 can water
- 1 teaspoon chicken boullion
- 2 cups bisquick mix
- 1 cup milk
- - paprika
How To Make week night chicken n dumplins

Step 1Spray hot skillet with cooking spray

Step 2Cut chicken breasts into 3-4 slices each

Step 3Saute chicken just until browned

Step 4Place chicken in bottom of casserole or deep baking dish (13X9 pan will work, but not as well)

Step 5Sprinkle to taste with GSP

Step 6Sprinkle frozen peas over chicken

Step 7Mix cream of chicken soup with two thirds of a can milk and two thirds of a can water and the chicken boullion

Step 8Pour about 2/3 of soup mixture over chicken and peas

Step 9Mix Bisquick mix with enough milk to make a spreadable consistency.

Step 10Pour/spread over chicken mixture, doesn't have to be even

Step 11Pour remaining soup mix over bisquick. Sprinkle paprika on top

Step 12Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until topping is browned, about 30 minutes

Step 13Serve with an easy side of salad or fruit
