1 small
onion chopped
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
6 c
crushed tomatoes
3/4 c
1/2 c
half and half
2 Tbsp
italian seasoning
2 lb
ground turkey
1/4 c
italian bread crumbs
1 tsp
fresh ground pepper
1/2 tsp
2 Tbsp
parsley flakes
4 oz
mozzarella cheese cut into 1
1 Tbsp
italian seasoning
1 large
2 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1 lb
pasta of choice
parmesan cheese


1Heat olive oil in dutch oven. Saute onion and garlic about 5 min on medium. Add vodka and stir until vodka is absorbed. Add crushed tomatoes and Italian seasonings... simmer on low about 10 min. Place meatballs in suce and simmer approx 20 min untill meat is done. Serve over your pasta of choice and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
2Mix turkey,egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper, Italian seasoning and parsley flakes... mix well. Shape into large meatballs, ( will make approx 6-8) depending on size. Place a cube of cheese in center of meatball and shape around the cheese to totally enclose. Brown in 2 tbsp olive oil
