Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 6 tablespoons fish sauce
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons each garlic minced and grated ginger
- 1 pound chicken wings
- TO COOK
- oil for deep frying
- cornstarch for dredging
- TO SERVE
- sliced scallions
- cilantro or micro greens
How To Make vietnamese fish sauce chicken wings

Step 1Mix ingredients for marinade together. Cut the wing tips off and discard. cut the wings into drumettes and flats. Place in marinade and marinate at least 3 hours or overnight.

Step 2Remove chicken from marinade reserving the marinade for later and pat dry. Bring a pot of oil to deep fry to 350 degrees. Roll the wings in cornstarch until lightly coated. Fry in oil for 3 to 5 minutes

Step 3Place marinade in saucepan and bring to a boil. Let reduce for about 5 to 10 minutes to a glaze. Serve the glaze over the wings and garnish with scallions and greens
