- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound chicken breast or boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into pieces
- 8 cups water
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
How To Make velveting chicken chinese style

Step 1Mix the egg white, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and peanut oil together. Add the chicken and cover and marinate in the fridge for 30 to 45 minutes.

Step 2Bring the water and salt to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer. Pour off the excess marinade and place the chicken in the water. Cook 1 minute drain
