This has been a favorite of ours for YEARS. I found it in the front entry of our local grocery store. It's light, tasty, and easy to keep on hand.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 10 ounces canned chicken, drained
- 2 slices bacon, crisp fried and crumbled
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 - pitas
How To Make valley fresh chicken pita sandwich

Step 1Cut pita bread in half to make pita pockets.

Step 2Blend mayonnaise and mustard. Add chicken, bacon, and cheese.

Step 3If preferred, lightly toast pitas in a small non-stick fry pan with a little oil over medium heat. Place tomato slices in each pita pocket. Fill pita pockets with chicken mixture.
