Ingredients
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons whole grain mustard (I used an ale and onion Dijon mustard)
- parsley, for garnish
How To Make turmeric honey mustard chicken

Step 1Cut slits in the breast but not all the way through. Mix the seasonings together and rub over the chicken. Add the oil to a large skillet.

Step 2Place the chicken in the skillet. Top with onion slices, garlic and the butter. Cover and cook about 5 minutes. Turn the chicken cover and cook about 5 more minutes. Remove cover and remove chicken to a plate.

Step 3Add the wine and let evaporate a bit. Add the honey and the mustard. Whisk until smooth. Add the chicken back cover again and cook 6 more minutes turning often until chicken is no longer pink in the middle. Remove the chicken to rest and cook the glaze a couple more minutes.

Step 4Top with parsley.
