Ingredients
- 2 pounds turkey nuggets
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon tony chachere's creole seasoning
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1/3 cup wesson canola oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon accent
- 2 tablespoons peppercorns, crushed
How To Make turkey nuggets

Step 1Cut turkey strips into one inch pieces.

Step 2Combine buttermilk, canola oil, peppercorns, garlic cloves, poultry seasoning, Tony's, accent, sea salt, maple syrup, and paprika into a freezer bag. Squish everything around. Place Turkey strips in freezer bag and marinate overnight.

Step 3Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, together in a shallow bowl.

Step 4Drain excess marinade off the turkey in a colander. Dip in the flour mixture. Heat peanut oil to 350 degrees. Place floured turkey strips in the hot oil and fry 4 - 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
