Ingredients For truffle chicken thighs with mushroom sauce

  • 4 lg
    chicken thighs
  • 0
    black truffle salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    white truffle oil, divided
  • 8 oz
    cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 c
    marsala wine
  • 1 c
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 c
    shredded black truffle cheese or Parmesan

How To Make truffle chicken thighs with mushroom sauce

    Place 1 Tbsp of the oil in a large skillet. Season the chicken with the truffle salt. Place in the pan skin side down. Cook about 6 minutes, then turn and cook about 4 minutes. Move to a plate.

    Add the other 1 Tbsp of oil to the pan. Add the mushrooms and thyme. Cook about 4 minutes.

    Pour in the wine and bring to a boil, scrape up any bits, then add the chicken stock.

    Continue to cook until the thighs' juices run clear. Add more stock if needed.

    Top with the black truffle cheese when serving.
