How to Make Tomato Asiago Fettuccine & Italian Chicken Sausage

Step-by-Step

  1. Put sausage links in skillet with the 2 cans of diced tomatoes and about 1 c. of water, Mrs. Dash tomato and basil, sugar and black pepper. Gently simmer for about 20-30 min. till sausage is done. Add more water if needed. Once done, remove sausage. You will want a juicy sauce, so if you need to add a little water go ahead. Your pasta will soak up some of the liquid.
  2. Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, drain and place in skillet with tomatoes, add 1/4 c of butter and Asiago. Heat for a few minutes longer, stirring to mix together pasta and sauce.
  3. Garnish with chopped flat leaf Italian parsley.
