This recipe includes three kinds of sausages: polish, chicken, and Italian. It's filled with a spiced cream sauce, bacon, and blue cheese in the bottom.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 teaspoons ground basil, divided
  • 16 ounces dry angel hair pasta
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 pound Polish sausage, sliced into 1/2-thick pieces
  • 1 pound chicken sausage, sliced into 1/2-thick pieces
  • 1 pound sweet Italian sausage, sliced into 1/2-thick pieces
  • 3 medium carrot, chopped
  • 1 medium purple onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon creole seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 8 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded

How To Make triple sausage casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Coat the bottom and sides of a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Add crumbled bacon and blue cheese and 2 teaspoons ground basil; mix well.
  • Step 3
    Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Step 4
    Heat avocado oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add sliced sausages and cook and saute on both sides for 5 minutes until browned.
  • Step 5
    Stir in chopped carrots, diced purple onion and creole seasoning and cook again for 2 minutes. Reduce to low heat.
  • Step 6
    In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, soup, cream cheese, ground sage, cumin, marjoram, thyme, seasoned pepper and remaining ground basil. Whisk together for 4 minutes until blended and smooth.
  • Step 7
    Add cooked angel hair pasta and spiced cream sauce over sausage mixture in the saucepan and stir together until combined. Remove from heat.
  • Step 8
    Pour into a prepared baking dish evenly. Sprinkle with panko bread crumbs and shredded Monterey jack cheese.
  • Step 9
    Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
