Ingredients

  • - 6 each frying chicken quarters
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup dry sherry

How To Make teriyaki chicken delight

  • Step 1
    Cut chicken into smaller portions.
  • Step 2
    Rinse and pat dry.
  • Step 3
    Place in glass bowl to marinate.
  • Step 4
    In small saucepan combine oil, honey, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic.
  • Step 5
    Bring to boil.
  • Step 6
    Remove from heat, add sherry and pour over chicken pieces.
  • Step 7
    Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, turning once or twice.
  • Step 8
    Grill, beginning skin side down, 6 to 8 inches from coals; turn every 10 minutes and baste with marinade.
  • Step 9
    Cook for 25 to 30 minutes or until done and well browned.
