I "adopted" this recipe, but will gladly claim it as my own because it's so danged good! Did some tweakin', did some eatin' and now I love this recipe

lime juice, freshley squeezed
1/2 c
orange juice, freshly squeezed
1 tsp
chili powder
jalapejo pepper, seeded and monced
2 clove
garlic, minced
1 tsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
chicken breasts, boneless, skinless

How to Make Tequlia Lime Chicken a la Chip


  • 1Combine tequila, lime juice, orange juice, chili powder, jalapeno, garlic, salt and pepper in a zippered plastic bag. Mix well.
  • 2Add chicken breasts to the mix. Seal and refrigerate overnight or at at least 8 hours.
  • 3Cook chicken on a hot grill until browned, about 15-20 minutes. You could also sear chicken in a pan and finish off in a 350 oven for about 10 minutes.
