tasty splenda teriyaki chicken

My grandaughter love teriyaki chicken with fried rice. She orders it everytime we go somewhere so maybe if I cook it at home she will order something else. Found this in the splenda cookbook

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1/2 cup splenda
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 - boneless chicken breast

How To Make tasty splenda teriyaki chicken

  • Step 1
    In a small saucepan over low heat, combine cornstarch cold water, splenda,soy sauce,vinegar,garlic,ginger and pepper. Simmer stirring frequently until sauce thickens and bubbles.
  • Step 2
    preheat oven to 425 degrees Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9by13 inch baking dish. Brush chicken with the sauce. Turn pieces over and brush again.
  • Step 3
    Bake in the oven for 15 minutes turn pieces and bake another 15 minutes until no longer pink. (WHILE BAKING YOU WILL BRUSH WITH SAUCE EVERY 5 MINUTES). (COOKING TIMES MAY BE DIFFERENT DOING TO THE SIZE OF THE BREAST)
