This is my own creation, I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does... never any leftovers.. and it makes a bunch!

Ingredients

  • 1 - chicken
  • 2 jars bertolli alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 - green bell pepper=chopped
  • 2 - jalepeno peppers=chopped
  • 1 - large onion=chopped
  • 1 package stuffing mix=dry
  • 2 cans mushroom pieces
  • 3/4 package penne pasta=cooked
  • 1 package shredded pepper jack cheese
  • - ground pepper to taste

How To Make tammy's chicken casserole

  • Step 1
    I cook the whole chicken overnight in a crock pot on low, in the morning I let it cool, then seperate and bone it.. I use 1/2 the chicken in the casserole.. and save 1/2 for another time.
  • Step 2
    Place water on to boil for the penne pasta.. place chicken in large mixing bowl. melt butter in skillet and add onion and peppers and saute till tender.
  • Step 3
    mix all with the chicken except use only 1/2 the cheese, save 1/2 for top. place mixture in 9x13 glass casserole dish, and top with cheese bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min. ENJOY!
