This is a result of an "experiment" in my kitchen today. I made spanish rice to go with it. My neighbors loved it, and I hope you do too!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 Whole - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make taco chicken

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the chicken into strips 2-3 inches wide like chicken tenders.
  • Step 2
    In a one gallon zip bag, combine flour, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, ground cumin, salt, and pepper.In a medium sized bowl, beat the eggs with the milk.
  • Step 3
    Dip two pieces at a time in the egg mixture, then shake them in the flour mixtures to coat. Place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil that you sprayed with cooking spray or lightly greased.
  • Step 4
    Bake for about 8 minutes, then turn each piece over and bake for about another 8 minutes or until done.
