- 1 tablespoon rawspicebar's chinese five spice powder
- 3 tablespoons dark sesame oil, divided
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons chile sauce
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- kosher salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons canola oil, divided
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast, cut into pieces
- 1 yellow & red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup snow peas, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked rice, hot
- 1/4 cup scallions, diced
- 1/4 cup peanuts
How To Make szechuan chicken

Step 1Combine 2 tbsp sesame oil, Chinese five spice powder, broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chile sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl.

Step 2Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add canola oil and heat. Add chicken, stir-fry 2 minutes. Remove chicken from pan.

Step 3Add more canola oil and heat in skillet. Add bell peppers, ginger, garlic, snow peas and onion and stir fry, 4-5 minutes. Add broth mix, cook 1-2 minutes. Add chicken to pan and cook through, 4-5 minutes. Serve with rice & enjoy!
