Ingredients

  • 1 - med green pepper,cut into chunks
  • 1 - large onion,cut into wedges
  • 1to 2 - tablesspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 can - (14- 1/2 ounces)chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup - pancake syrup
  • 1/4 cup - cider vinegar
  • 1 - tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 can - ( 8 ounces) pineapple chunks
  • 2 to 3 - tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 1/2 cups - frozen chicken nuggets,thawed
  • 4 cups - hot cooked rice

How To Make sweet-sour chicken nuggets

  • Step 1
    In a skillet saute green pepper,onion in oil until crisp-tender,remove and keep warm.add broth,syrup,vinegar
  • Step 2
    and soy sauce to skillet; bring to boil. drain pineapple,reserving juice;set pineapple aside. combine cornstarch juice until smooth;gradually add to broth mixture.
  • Step 3
    Bring to boil;cook and stir for 2 min or until thickened.
  • Step 4
    add chicken nuggets;cook for 2 min.stir in pineapple and vegetables;heat through.serve over rice
