My mother-in-law introduced this recipe to us. We love it! Next time I think I'll try with fresh finely chopped ginger.

Ingredients
- 8 - chicken tenderloins or 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup salad oil or shortening
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can sliced pineapple, drain & save syrup
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3/4 cup cide vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 - chicken bouilion cube
- 1 - bell pepper, sliced
How To Make sweet-sour chicken

Step 1Coat chicken with flour. Brown in hot oil. Arrange skin side up in shallow roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.

Step 2Prepare sauce. Add water to pineapple syrup to make 1 1/4 cup. Combine syrup, sugar, constarch, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger & bouillion cube

Step 3Bring to boil, stirring constantly 2 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake uncovered, 30 min. Add pineapple and 1 bell pepper, sliced. Bake 30 min longer.
