sweet and spicy thai wings
While there is nothing wrong with traditional buffalo style wings, I enjoy a change of pace from time to time. This recipe certainly fits the bill and is easy to customize with heat and sweet as your pallet desires. Serve with your favorite grilled side to keep your kitchen clean.

Ingredients
- 4-5 pounds chicken wings
- MARINADE
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sesame oil
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon ginger, fresh grated
- 1/2 medium onion, minced
- 1/4 cup chili garlic paste
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
- 3 - limes, juiced
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon allspice, ground
- 2 tablespoons chinese five spice powder
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped (reserve half for garnish)
How To Make sweet and spicy thai wings

Step 1Combine marinade ingredients and pour mixture over chicken. Marinade for at least 2 hours and up to 12.

Step 2Preheat grill with a hot and cooler side and place wings on hot side first, turning occasionally until lightly brown...retain marinade.

Step 3With remaining marinade, baste wings occasionally until crisp and done through. Remove from grill.

Step 4Reduce remaining marinade in saucepan until thick.

Step 5Toss wings in sauce in large bowl to coat.

Step 6Transfer to serving dish and garnish with remaining cilantro.
