Ingredients

  • 16-20
    large chicken wings
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 C
    milk
  • 1 C
    cornstarch
  • 2 C
    flour
  • ·
    oil, just enough oil to fry
  • SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:

  • BRING TO BOIL;

  • 1 1/2 C
    brown sugar
  • 1 C
    cider vinegar
  • 1/2 C
    ketchup
  • 1/2 C
    chicken bouillon ( granules, cubes, or paste soup base)
  • 2 TBS
    soy sauce

How to Make SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN WINGS By Freda

Step-by-Step

  1. Pam spray 9X13 pan
    Preheat Oven 350
    Salt and Pepper Chicken.
    ADD milk to beaten eggs.
  2. Mix Flour and cornstarch together in bowl.
    Dip Chicken wings into egg Mixture then into the Flour Mixture.
  3. Brown wings in Hot Shortening, or Oil, in frying pan, over Medium Heat.
    Remove Wings as they Brown, and Place in a 9 X 13 Pan.
  4. Make Your S & S SAUCE,(above)Boil about 10 Min. then Pour over your Fried Wings.
    Note:
    add boullion Granules, Cubes or paste (I use the paste soup base.) to your taste to make 1/2 C this is your flavoring for the chicken)
    Pour sauce over Chicken and Bake @ 350 for 35-45 min, or until Chicken is Golden brown.
  5. Optional Garnish:
    a few Pineapple Chunks, & or Green Bell Pepper Chunks . . .enjoy. . . Delicious, Sweet and Twangy.
