Cooking time does not include fry time or making the Sauce.
16-20large chicken wings
·oil, just enough oil to fry
SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:
BRING TO BOIL;
1 1/2 Cbrown sugar
1 Ccider vinegar
1/2 Cchicken bouillon ( granules, cubes, or paste soup base)
2 TBSsoy sauce
How to Make SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN WINGS By Freda
- Pam spray 9X13 pan
Preheat Oven 350
Salt and Pepper Chicken.
ADD milk to beaten eggs.
- Mix Flour and cornstarch together in bowl.
Dip Chicken wings into egg Mixture then into the Flour Mixture.
- Brown wings in Hot Shortening, or Oil, in frying pan, over Medium Heat.
Remove Wings as they Brown, and Place in a 9 X 13 Pan.
- Make Your S & S SAUCE,(above)Boil about 10 Min. then Pour over your Fried Wings.
add boullion Granules, Cubes or paste (I use the paste soup base.) to your taste to make 1/2 C this is your flavoring for the chicken)
Pour sauce over Chicken and Bake @ 350 for 35-45 min, or until Chicken is Golden brown.
- Optional Garnish:
a few Pineapple Chunks, & or Green Bell Pepper Chunks . . .enjoy. . . Delicious, Sweet and Twangy.
