"Unbeatable", Make these tasty wings, and Your sure to hear raving Compliments, These are very Very Good. . . and so easy. Note: Cooking time does not include fry time or making the Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 16-20 - large chicken wings
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 C - milk
  • 1 C - cornstarch
  • 2 C - flour
  • - oil, just enough oil to fry
  • SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:
  • BRING TO BOIL;
  • 1 1/2 C - brown sugar
  • 1 C - cider vinegar
  • 1/2 C - ketchup
  • 1/2 C - chicken bouillon ( granules, cubes, or paste soup base)
  • 2 TBS - soy sauce

How To Make sweet and sour chicken wings by freda

  • Step 1
    Pam spray 9X13 pan Preheat Oven 350 Salt and Pepper Chicken. ADD milk to beaten eggs.
  • Step 2
    Mix Flour and cornstarch together in bowl. Dip Chicken wings into egg Mixture then into the Flour Mixture.
  • Step 3
    Brown wings in Hot Shortening, or Oil, in frying pan, over Medium Heat. Remove Wings as they Brown, and Place in a 9 X 13 Pan.
  • Step 4
    Make Your S & S SAUCE,(above)Boil about 10 Min. then Pour over your Fried Wings. Note: add boullion Granules, Cubes or paste (I use the paste soup base.) to your taste to make 1/2 C this is your flavoring for the chicken) Pour sauce over Chicken and Bake @ 350 for 35-45 min, or until Chicken is Golden brown.
  • Step 5
    Optional Garnish: a few Pineapple Chunks, & or Green Bell Pepper Chunks . . .enjoy. . . Delicious, Sweet and Twangy.
