Ingredients
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, cut into wedges
- 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 can 14oz. can chicken broth
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 can 8oz. pineapple chunks
- 2 to 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 1/2 cups frozen chicken nuggets, thawed
- - hot cooked rice
- 1/2 cup pancake syrup
How To Make sweet and sour chicken nuggets

Step 1In a skillet, heat oil to medium heat and saute green pepper and onion until crisp tender. Remove and keep warm. Add broth, pancake syrup, vinegar, and soy sauce to the skillet; bring to a boil.

Step 2Drain the pineapple, reserving the juice and set pineapple aside. Combine cornstarch and the reserved juice and blend until smooth. Gradually add to broth mixture.

Step 3Bring to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add chicken nuggets and cook 2 minutes. Stir in the pineapple and sauteed vegetables and heat through. Serve over rice. 4 servings.
