My husband,Jim and I lived aboard a 32 foot Grand Banks trawler for more then 12 years, it was great fun! I learned to cook using recipes that did not take a lot of ingredients because pantry space was limited. This recipe was a favorite and with white rice and green vegetable you had a wonderful meal with little fuss.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb
    chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 1 jar(s)
    (12-oz) apricot preserves
  • 1 bottle
    (8-oz) russian salad dressing

How to Make Sweet and Sour Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray a 9x9 shallow baking dish. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange chicken in baking dish.
  2. In a bowl mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.
  3. Bake at 350 degree oven for 1-1/2 hours.
