Ingredients
- 1 - carrot, coarsely chopped
- 1 - green bell pepper, chunked
- 1 - onion, quartered
- 2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
- 4 - chicken breasts, boned
- 8 ounces pineapple
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cilantro, dried
- - hot cooked rice
How To Make sweet and sour chicken

Step 1CROCKPOT-Put vegetables in bottom of crockpot.

Step 2Sprinkle tapioca over vegetables.

Step 3Place chicken atop vegetables.

Step 4Combine all other ingredients except rice in a small bowl.

Step 5Pour over chicken.

Step 6Cover crockpot and turn to low and cook for 8-10 hours.

Step 7Before serving make rice.

Step 8Serve over rice.

Step 9Leftovers can be reheated in microwave.

Step 10OVEN-Put vegetables in bottom of a greased pan. Sprinkle vegetables with tapioca.

Step 11Add chicken to pan.

Step 12Combine all other ingredients except rice in a small bowl.

Step 13Pour over chicken.

Step 14Cover pan tightly with foil.

Step 15Bake in 300 degree oven for 2 hours. Serve over rice.
