Ingredients
- 4 - chicken breasts skinless and chopped to bite size
- 2 - eggs, well beaten
- - cornstarch for dredging
- 1/4 cup soy sauce, light
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make sweet and sour chicken

Step 1HEAT OVEN TO 350° AND SPRAY THE INSIDE OF A 13 X 9 BAKING DISH.

Step 2HEAT FRYING PAN AND ADD 3-4 TABLESPOONS OF OLIVE OIL. DICE UP CHICKEN BREASTS INTO BITESIZE PIECES AND DIP IN BEATEN EGG AND DREDGE IN CORNSTARCH. FRY IN OLIVE OIL UNTIL DONE. AS PIECES ARE COOKED, PLACE IN A 13x9" COOKING PAN. YOU WILL NEED TO ADD MORE OIL OIL TO THE PAN AS YOU COOK.

Step 3MIX THE KETCHUP, WHITE VINEGAR, SUGAR, SOY SAUCE AND WATER TOGETHER IN A BOWL. USE A WHISK TO BREAK UP THE KETCHUP.

Step 4ONCE ALL OF THE CHICKEN IS COOKED, POUR THE SAUCE MIXTURE OVER THE CHICKEN. BAKE FOR 20-30 MIN. DEPENDING ON HOW FAST YOUR OVEN IS. STIR THE CHICKEN IN THE SAUCE ABOUT 1/2 WAY THROUGH THE COOK TIME.
