Ingredients

·3 tbsp. oil, divided

·3 chicken breasts, halved

·2 medium onion, chopped

·2 t. mustard powder

·pepper to taste

·3 tbsp. lemon juice

·3/4 cup orange juice

·1 tbsp beef bouillon, dry

·1 t. cider vinegar

·1 can tomato paste (6 oz)

·1 1/2 cups water

·3 tbsp. brown sugar

·1/4 t. sage
How to Make Sugar Barbecued Chicken
- In large skillet, heat half the oil. Add half the chicken and fry over
medium heat until browned on both sides. Transfer to a 9 x 13" baking dish.
Repeat with remaining oil and chicken. Add onions to same skillet. Cook over
low heat 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. - Preheat oven to 300. Stir in
remaining ingredients except chicken. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Pour over chicken. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6
