this recipe has been around my house for many years my sister-in- law gave me this recipe about 26 years ago and I still love it.

Ingredients

2 lb
cut-up chicken (with or without bone in)
1 c
buttermilk
1 Tbsp
chopped garlic
1 tsp
tyme or 2 sprigs fresh
1 c
self rising flour
1 c
grated parmsean cheese
1 stick
butter melted
1 tsp
salt and pepper
1 tsp
emerils essence seasoning ( something i added to recipe

How to Make Sue Sue's Cheese Chicken

Step-by-Step

  • 1First in large bowl add chicken and buttermilk and garlic and thyme and let marinate at least 2 hours or overnight ..
  • 2In a shallow dish when ready to cook add flour and parmsean and salt and pepper and Emerils Seasoning.
  • 3Dip chicken in flour cheese and coat well .In a Pam sprayed long pyrex dish add chicken pieces when all in pan drizzle with the melted butter .
  • 4Im a 350* oven cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until chicken is brown and tender.
