this recipe has been around my house for many years my sister-in- law gave me this recipe about 26 years ago and I still love it.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    cut-up chicken (with or without bone in)
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp
    tyme or 2 sprigs fresh
  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 1 c
    grated parmsean cheese
  • 1 stick
    butter melted
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    emerils essence seasoning ( something i added to recipe

How to Make Sue Sue's Cheese Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. First in large bowl add chicken and buttermilk and garlic and thyme and let marinate at least 2 hours or overnight ..
  2. In a shallow dish when ready to cook add flour and parmsean and salt and pepper and Emerils Seasoning.
  3. Dip chicken in flour cheese and coat well .In a Pam sprayed long pyrex dish add chicken pieces when all in pan drizzle with the melted butter .
  4. Im a 350* oven cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until chicken is brown and tender.
