This sub-sandwich is great for a slumber party for a bunch of girls or any kind of group gathering. Easy to make and so satisfying when served with your favorite chips and soft drinks. If you are serving this to a football or sports crowd, (or a group of teenagers) you may have to make more than one.

How To Make sub-sandwich for a group

  • 1
Split bread lengthwise and spread both sides of bread with miracle whip (or your favorite spread).
  • 2
On the bottom half of the bread, place one layer of cheese. Layer the lettuce, tomatoes, meats and any of the other garnishes desired.
  • 3
Cut crosswise into 8 slices and serve with your favorite chips and beverage.
  • 4
If you are making these ahead of time, just layer the meats and cheeses on the bread. Adding the other garnishes will make the sandwich wet and soggy.(DO NOT SLICE AT THIS TIME.) Wrap the loaf in plastic wrap and then wrap in foil and refrigerate for up to 8 hours.
  • 5
When ready to serve, remove the sandwich from the refrigerator and let sit until room temperature. At this point, open the sandwich and layer with any/all of the garnishes desired. Cut into 8 slices and serve.
