This was my sister's recipe. It's a small recipe. Nice for a dinner for two at home.

  • ·
    2 chicken breasts, boned and split
  • ·
    1 package of rice with wild rice mix
  • ·
    1 chopped onion
  • ·
    3/4 cup chopped mushrooms
  • ·
    1 regular sized can cream of mushroom soup
  • ·
    1 tsp basil
  • ·
    1/2 cup white wine
  • ·
    2 tbs butter

How to Make Stuffed Chicken Breasts for Two


  1. Saute the onion and mushrooms in butter.
  2. Prepare the rice mix according to the directions. When half done, add the onion and mushroom mixture and finish cooking.
  3. Heat 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Add 1 tsp of basil and 1/2 cup white wine and simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Stuff the chicken breast with the rice mixture and secure them closed with tooth picks.
  5. Place the breasts in a casserole dish and pour the soup mixture over them.
  6. Bake at 250 degrees (slow oven) until chicken is done - 1 to 2 hours.
