Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 - chicken breast filets
  • 2 cups broccoli, chopped
  • 1.5 cups snow peas
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 5/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

How To Make stir fry ginger chicken

  • Step 1
    In electric skillet or wok over medium heat in 2 tablespoons butter, stir-fry chicken until completely browned.
  • Step 2
    Remove from pan.
  • Step 3
    In same pan in remaining oil, stir-fry vegetables and garlic until tender.
  • Step 4
    In a bowl, combine broth, cornstarch, soy sauce and ginger until smooth.
  • Step 5
    Add to vegetables with cooked chicken.
  • Step 6
    Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
  • Step 7
    Serve over rice or noodles.
