I found this recipe in Everyday Foods and tried it for Super Bowl Sunday. It is very good and there is not much heat so kids and people who like a milder taste will enjoy them. Of course you can always add more Sriracha to the recipe for more heat and spice.

yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (can add more if you like a hotter sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped or grated garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken wings, cut in half at joint (wing tips removed) or drumsticks.

How To Make sriracha-glazed chicken wings

  • Step 1
In a bowl whisk together all ingredients except for chicken.
  • Step 2
Add chicken and toss to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes, tossing wings ever so often. Can also put into frig and marinate for a longer time. I gave mine about 6 hours.
  • Step 3
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a sheet pan with foil and dump chicken and sauce on it. Bake until chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens, 30 to 45 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through cooking time. Enjoy!
