Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 - chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon sherry
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 can bamboo shoots, diced
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon scallion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, finely chopped

How To Make spicy chicken

  • Step 1
    Bone chicken and cube it.
  • Step 2
    Mix sherry, soy sauce and corn starch.
  • Step 3
    Marinate chicken in cornstarch mixture for 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Heat oil.
  • Step 5
    Add chicken cornstarch mixture and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Remove chicken.
  • Step 7
    Add bamboo shoots, hoison sauce, scallion, ginger and crushed red peppers.
  • Step 8
    Stir well, then add chicken and serve.
