Ingredients

  • 9 oz
    chicken wings, fresh or frozen (thawed)
  • ~ 1 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped scallion
  • 1" piece
    fresh ginger root, cut into slices
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    soy sauce, light or dark
  • 1 tsp
    sugar

How to Make Soy Chicken Wings

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash chicken wings.
  2. In small pan, bring water to boil.
  3. Add chicken, scallion and ginger root; bring back to boil.
  4. Add soy and sugar.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove chicken from any remaining liquid and serve hot.
