Ingredients

chicken wings, fresh or frozen (thawed)
~ 1 c
water
1 Tbsp
chopped scallion
1" piece
fresh ginger root, cut into slices
2 1/2 Tbsp
soy sauce, light or dark
1 tsp
sugar

How to Make Soy Chicken Wings

Step-by-Step

  • 1Wash chicken wings.
  • 2In small pan, bring water to boil.
  • 3Add chicken, scallion and ginger root; bring back to boil.
  • 4Add soy and sugar.
  • 5Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 6Remove chicken from any remaining liquid and serve hot.
