Ingredients For soy chicken wings

  • 9 oz
    chicken wings, fresh or frozen (thawed)
  • ~ 1 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped scallion
  • 1" piece
    fresh ginger root, cut into slices
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    soy sauce, light or dark
  • 1 tsp
    sugar

How To Make soy chicken wings

  • 1
    Wash chicken wings.
  • 2
    In small pan, bring water to boil.
  • 3
    Add chicken, scallion and ginger root; bring back to boil.
  • 4
    Add soy and sugar.
  • 5
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • 6
    Remove chicken from any remaining liquid and serve hot.
