Ingredients
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 to 3 - drops of hot sauce
- 3/4 cup cornflakes
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 - 1-pound 14ounce chicken with bones
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
How To Make southern oven-fried chicken

Step 1Remove the skin from the chicken

Step 2Preheat oven to 400 degrees Spray large baking sheet with non-stick spray

Step 3Crush the cornflakes i just put the cornflakes in a bowl and break up with my hands. You could use a food processor but be careful not to over chop.

Step 4In a large shallow bowl combine buttermilk and hot sauce. On a sheet of wax paper combine corn flakes crumbs,flour,salt,pepper.

Step 5Dip chicken pieces in buttermilk mixture,dredge,coating completely with cornflake mixture.

Step 6Arrange chicken on prepared baking sheet, drizzle evenly with oil. Bake 25 minutes.
