6split chicken breast
1 csour cream or plain greek yogurt
1/8 clemon juice
1 tspworcestershire sauce
1/4 cbutter or margarine
1 ccracker crumbs, ritz or any round butter cracker
How to Make Sour Cream Chicken Casserole
- Mix sour cream, lemon juice, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce together.
- Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the bottom of a pan. Pour cream mixture over the chicken.
- Spread cracker crumbs over the top and then drizzle the butter over top of all of it.
- Bake for 45-60 min. at 350 degree until chicken is done.
If you are making this for a large group I cut the chicken into reasonable sized pieces. I also do not increase the sauce equally. If you are making it for 60 I would multiply the cream mixture by 8 instead. It will still add the flavor to it all.
The sauce and chicken can be combined up to 24 hours in advance. Just add the crumbs and butter before baking.
