so simple mushroom chicken

I had chicken and limited other ingredients. It turns out that the beauty of any dish is simplicity and artful seasoning! My husband loves a little spice in all his dishes, so I added the red pepper for him. I imagine it's just as good without! But it does add a little kick! I'm planning on experimenting by adding cheese next time and also baking it over stuffing or rice! I'll probably update this recipe, when that happens!

Ingredients

  • 3 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless (frozen)
  • dash salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, light
  • 1 can mushroom pieces
  • 1/2 small onions, vidalia, peeled, chopped
  • - crushed red pepper, to taste

How To Make so simple mushroom chicken

  • Step 1
    Place frozen chicken breasts in bottom of a glass 9x13 pan. Coat as desired. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Mix minced garlic into soup, straight from can. Spread soup mixture over top of chicken.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle mushrooms and chopped onion on top. Add red pepper (optional).
  • Step 4
    Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked through.
