So Simple Mushroom Chicken
My husband loves a little spice in all his dishes, so I added the red pepper for him. I imagine it's just as good without! But it does add a little kick!
I'm planning on experimenting by adding cheese next time and also baking it over stuffing or rice! I'll probably update this recipe, when that happens!
3 largechicken breasts, boneless and skinless (frozen)
dash(es)salt and pepper
2 Tbspminced garlic
1 can(s)cream of mushroom soup, light
1 can(s)mushroom pieces
1/2 smallonions, vidalia, peeled, chopped
·crushed red pepper, to taste
How to Make So Simple Mushroom Chicken
- Place frozen chicken breasts in bottom of a glass 9x13 pan. Coat as desired. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix minced garlic into soup, straight from can. Spread soup mixture over top of chicken.
- Sprinkle mushrooms and chopped onion on top. Add red pepper (optional).
- Bake at 375 for 50 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked through.
