Ingredients

  • 4 c
    ketchup
  • 4 large
    garlic cloves minced
  • 8 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    molasses
  • 4 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 8 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 5 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 4 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 3 tsp
    ancho chili powder
  • 2
    squares of dark chocolate (i use 82% cacao bar)
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1
    jalapeno minced
  • 1/3 c
    100% pumpkin

How to Make Smoky Sweet BBQ sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. I use a Medium Stock Pot. Grate the Chocolate and add all the ingredients to your pot. Stir to combine and bring the sauce up to simmer and let cook for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Can be refridgerated or used right away
