Slow Cooker recipes are awesome. You put your cooker on, go to work and come home to your supper already done. Love it! Anything in the Slow Cooker is alright by me. So I try to make as many of these dishes as possible. This Jerk Chicken is so good, it just melts in your mouth.

Ingredients
- 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut in cubes
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 1 can pineapple tidbits, unsweetened
- 2 pounds chicken breast halves, skinned removed, bone in
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons caribbean jerk seasoning
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh gingeroot
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated lime peel
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, crushed
- 3 - fresh thyme sprigs
- 1 - fresh lime
How To Make slow jerk

Step 1Place potatoes in a 4-5 qt. Slow cooker. Add water chestnuts,cranberries, and cherries. Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Add the drained pineapple.

Step 2Rub Chicken breasts with cinnamon & jerk. Put Chicken on top of fruit & potato mixture.

Step 3In a mixing bowl add reserved pineapple juice, onion, ginger,Worcestershire sauce, lime peel, crushed cumin seeds. Pour over chicken and top with fresh thyme sprigs.

Step 4Just before serving cook rice flavor of your choice. Serve with rice and squeeze the juice of a lemon over chicken. Enjoy
