Ingredients
- 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into small pieces
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup shaoxing wine
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger peeled and minced
- 8 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- - rice or noodles for serving
How To Make slow cooker chicken teriyaki

Step 1Place the chicken in a slow cooker. Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, wine, garlic and ginger together.

Step 2Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker. Cook on low 6 hours.

Step 3Remove the chicken with a slotted spoon. Place the sauce in a pot and bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch and water together. Stir into the boiling mixture whisking until thick. Remove from the heat and stir in the chicken.

Step 4Serve over rice or noodles.
