This chicken is infused with so much flavor. It is so juicy it falls off the bones. The meat just glistens. Serve the sauce with the chicken. I also like to not reduce the sauce and add cooked noodles with the chicken for an amazing chicken and noodles.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup hard or regular apple cider
- 2 lemons zest the skin then slice into rounds
- 15 cloves garlic whole
- 1 bunch each fresh thyme, rosemary and sage
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
How To Make slow cooker chicken in milk

Step 1Rinse the chicken and pat dry. Mix the salt and pepper together and rub over the chicken. Place olive oil in a dutch oven that will fit the chicken. Sear the chicken on all side until golden brown. Remove chicken to a slow cooker

Step 2Pour out the oil and then place back over heat and add the apple cider. Scrap up the bits from the bottom of pan. Pour over the chicken in slow cooker. Add the lemon zest and slices, garlic, sage, thyme, and rosemary.

Step 3Pour the milk over all and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and let rest. Meat will be falling off the bones,

Step 4Strain the juices through a fine mesh strainer and discard. Place the sauce in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce until about half. Serve with the chicken
