Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion salt
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 12 oz
    wheat or regular beer
  • 24 oz
    barbecue sauce

How to Make Slow Cooker BBQ Beer Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. in a bowl combine the beer, barbecue sauce, onion salt, garlic powder, paprika and pepper.
  2. add the chicken to the crock pot and pour the beer and barbecue mixture over.
  3. cook on low for 6 hours. shred the chicken using 2 forks and let cook for another 15 minutes with the top off. serve in buns, tortillas, over salad or over rice.
