This is a great comfort dish on a cool evening. I like to serve it to guests because it looks and tastes like a restaurant meal without going to a lot of trouble.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) whole artichoke hearts, drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole mushrooms, halved
  • 12 - chicken tenders
  • 1 jar (6 1/2 oz) marinated artichoke hearts, with liquid
  • 3/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • - hot cooked noodles
  • - paprika for garnish (optional)

How To Make slow cooker autumn chicken

  • Step 1
    Spread whole artichoke hearts over bottom of crock pot or slow cooker.
  • Step 2
    Top with half of the mushrooms.
  • Step 3
    Layer chicken tenders over the mushrooms.
  • Step 4
    Top chicken with marinated artichoke hearts with liquid.
  • Step 5
    Add remaining mushrooms.
  • Step 6
    Pour in wine and vinaigrette.
  • Step 7
    Cover and cook on LOW 4-5 hours.
  • Step 8
    Serve over hot cooked noodles. Garnish with paprika, if desired. Enjoy!
