This is my moms recipe and it's so yummy. I cook it on low for the most tender chicken, but you can cook it on high. The lemonade gives it a great tangy flavor.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken pieces, thighs & drumsticks, skinned
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- - hot cooked rice
How To Make slow-cooked sweet & sour chicken

Step 1Place chicken in a 4-quart slow-cooker, sprinkle w/ salt. In medium bowl, whisk together lemonade, brown sugar, ketchup, and vinegar until smooth.

Step 2Pour mix over chicken. Cover, cook on low for 6 hrs, or on high for 3-1/2 hrs. Transfer chicken to a platter & keep warm.

Step 3Pour liquid from cooker into a saucepan and skim the fat . In lg measuring cup, combine cornstarch and water. Stir into saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thickened. Cook 2 more mins. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve w/ rice.
