Ingredients
- 2.5 pounds chicken, frying pieces
- 1 cup flour
- 1.5 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 can tomatoes, diced
- 1 can green chiles, drained
- 1 can black olives, pitted and sliced
- 1/2 can onion, diced
- 5/8 cup fresh cilantro
- 5/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- - hot cooked rice
How To Make skillet festive chicken

Step 1Rinse chicken well.

Step 2In a bag combine flour, salt and chili powder.

Step 3Shake chicken a few pieces at a time in flour mixture to coat.

Step 4In large skillet brown chicken in oil.

Step 5In bowl combine remaining ingredients except rice, mix well.

Step 6Pour mixture over chicken.

Step 7Simmer, covered, 40 minutes or until done.

Step 8Serve over rice.
