simple chicken lo mein
This was just an idea for something fun to do with broccoli slaw back when it first came out. I've been making it ever since and the family loves it!

Ingredients
- 1-2 tablespoon peanut oil
- 4 - boneless, skinless chicken thighs, trimmed of fat and cut into thin strips
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, minced
- 1 bag 1/2 (16 oz.) fresh broccoli slaw or asian style chopped salad mix
- 1 package (16 oz) chinese noodles cooked and rinsed under cold water
- FOR SAUCE
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup chinese rice wine
- 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, loosely packed
How To Make simple chicken lo mein

Step 1Mix together rice wine, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar and sesame oil. Set Aside.

Step 2Cook Chinese noodles according to package directions. Rinse with cold water. Set aside

Step 3Heat peanut oil in a large wok or deep skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add chicken and cook, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Add vegetables and lid. Cook until vegetables are cooked crisp tender.

Step 4Pour sauce mixture over chicken and vegetables, add noodles and toss to mix and heat through.
