Easy meal you can add or substitute what ever ingredients you like. The chicken can be cooked ahead of time either boil, bake or use instapot. I've added tomatillos and peppers. You can also use pork instead of the chicken. The tortilla's we like are only 3 neg gram of carbohydrates so it fits our diet.

    chicken breast
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato and green chili
  • 1/2
    onion, diced
  • 2
    avacados
  • 3 Tbsp
    burrito seasoning mix
  • ·
    mexican or cheddar cheese
  • ·
    black olives
  • ·
    sour cream

How to Make Shredded Chicken Taco's

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook Chicken breast, either boil or bake. When cooked, shred
  2. In frying pan, add chicken, onion, tomatoes and green chili's and burrito seasoning mix. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat, simmer allowing liquid to reduce.
  3. Microwave tortilla for 30 seconds, spread avocado on tortilla, add chicken mix, garnish with cheese, sour cream, black olives, shredded lettuce.
